About Us

The R.C.H.D.A. was established in 2017 to promote and foster highland dancing in Guelph and its surrounding area.

R.C.H.D.A. is a group of volunteers that collectively assists in preserving the Scottish Art Heritage in Guelph, Ontario and its surrounding area. They are joined by mutual consent for the common purposes of educating and rendering assistance to the highland dance community, providing a local opportunity to competitively dance, perform highland dance, and record and maintain the history of Scottish Art Heritage, specifically highland dance in the City of Guelph and its surrounding area.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to educate, support, and empower the Highland Dance community while preserving the history and traditions of Scottish Art Heritage in Guelph and its surrounding areas. Through our collective efforts, we strive to provide local opportunities for competitive dancing, performances, and documenting our shared cultural heritage.

What We Do
